Alexis (Lexi) Rotenberry
Thanks for visiting my site! I am a high school and club volleyball player, wrestler, and former competitive all star elite cheerleader. I started playing volleyball the summer of 2021 and fell in love with the sport. Having competed as an all star elite cheerleader since the age of 5, I wanted to try something new. After playing in the premier league in 2022, I decided it was time to focus primarily on volleyball. I am a utility player with experience as an outside hitter, defensive specialist, opposite hitter, setter, libero, and middle blocker.

My experience with cheer has made me a versatile athlete, as it gave me the strength and agility to adapt to any sport. Cheer taught me so much more than just tumbling, stunting, and choreography. It taught me a lot about teamwork, trust, grit, resilience, strength and determination. I learned how to fall hard and get right back up, how to take hits and still keep going, and how to stay strong and motivate my team. Although I may not cheer anymore, the lessons I learned will always be with me.

Winter of 2023 I started wrestling during my Freshman year of high school. After three tournaments of being undefeated in JV, I am thankful my coaches entrusted me with representing the team on Varsity. I love this sport and am learning and growing everyday.

February 1st, 2025 I tore my ACL during my semifinal match at a wrestling tournament, right before the post-season. This ended my wrestling and club volleyball season all at once. Even though injured, I was determined to be there for my team, and supported them at our district qualifier, cheered them on from my bed post-surgery when they were at sectionals, and traveled down a week after surgery to cheer on my teammates in person at state. My team is my extended family and I wanted to be there for them.

Unfortunately I was still recovering during the Fall 2025 volleyball season, but was fortunate to be able to help coach Northgate's JV Girls Volleyball team as a student team manager and still contribute to the succes of our program. I look forward to being on the court again in 2026.

I am a passionate student of the game. I love the team cohesity of sports, as well as the strategic thinking involved. Besides being a multisport athlete, I also work as an assistant coach for Pacific Rim's summer skills camps. I thoroughly enjoy coaching and love supporting other players and teammates. I look forward to continuing to grow as a multisport athlete and apply strategic thinking to all of my plays.
